The Authority Gap
AMS Foundations · Book 01
What digital authority actually is, not as a metric, but as an asset. How it is measured, how it flows through links, how it breaks through neglect, and why most websites fail not because of bad content but because they never understood the asset they were supposed to be building.
Covers: authority as an asset, the economic case for authority over advertising, the cost of ignoring authority (with case studies), understanding authority signals, authority in the AI era, and the language of execution.

About the sequence
The AMS collection follows a deliberate order: understand what authority is before attempting to build it. The concepts in Foundations (Structural Debt, Authority Decay, The Meritocracy Myth, The Infrastructure Illusion) are the vocabulary that Execution builds on. Reading Execution without Foundations is possible, but the strategic reasoning behind each decision will be clearer with the framework in place.
